ABSTRACT

The pancreatic pseudocyst is cataloged and recognized as a rare entity. It is defined as an aseptic fluid accumulation, composed of pancreatic enzymes, hematic material, inflammatory cells. It is classified through the Atlanta scale. It has a prevalence in males, related to alcoholism. The most common symptom is pain. There are various management options such as the traditional surgical approach based on three outbreaks, cystogastrostomy, cytoduodenostomy, cystojejunostomy, laparoscopic resection, rigid catheter drainage, diversion, endoscopic drainage.
